Domestic and Family Violence Prevention
Luxwood opposes domestic and family violence in all its forms.
Employing people directly and using a trusted network of subcontractors, Luxwood has the following policies in place to ensure that domestic and family violence is excluded from its business and supply chain:
-
During inductions, all staff are advised of Luxwood policy on prevention of domestic and family violence and zero tolerance for domestic and family violence.
-
All staff are provided assistance and support should they find themselves affected by domestic or family violence. This includes helping staff, as needed, to seek professional support and assistance to deal with domestic or family violence. Leave is provided if needed.
-
Luxwood assesses each potential subcontractor to ensure that they are committed to the prevention of domestic and family violence and provide support to their own staff who may be affected by domestic and family violence.
-
Regular reviews of subcontractors’ employee support practices are undertaken to maintain this commitment to ending domestic and family violence in the Luxwood supply chain.
All staff and subcontractors have individual responsibility for understanding and applying this Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Policy. Company management is fully committed to this Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Policy through clear messages about zero tolerance for domestic and family violence and leadership by example.
